Haiden Deegan said he went to using mind games as a tactic against Julien Beaumer because Beaumer started the season strong and Deegan wanted to break him in order to help him win- and Haiden said it worked!
Deegan said in the press conference of the rivalry with Beaumer this season: “It was fun, but I just wanted to win. So I was like, if I can try and mentally break this kid, that’s way I’m going to do it. And I did. I was like, how can I mentally break him? And that was just ride him dirty for a couple of rounds and talk a little bit.
“He definitely got a bit of clout off of it, his followers count went up crazy It is what it is. He rode good this seasom too and there was definitely some good battles.”
