Hear from Tommy Searle after his win at Canada Heights in the MX2 British championship – Tommy still has what it takes to get the job done against the the UK’s future stars!
Searle told Jeff Perrett after his win: “I’ve had rough couple of weeks coming up to this, I haven’t felt very good at all, so I don’t know how I’ve managed to pull it out the bag. I surprise myself sometimes! I really enjoyed that out there, I was following little Bill, and I still had to show him that I’m the boss, he still needs to listen a little bit! He was riding well and I knew I had the overall regardless but I wanted to overtake him. I had some really good lines, I was really enjoying it. Oriol was out front, I think he holeshot and had a clean race and was a little bit faster than us all but I am well happy. Home race, Alfie is here watching, so to take that trophy home he is at that age he sort of understands so this wins means a lot because he is here.”
