Amidst rumours of interest from Ducati for 2026 and even a KTM test ahead of the 2026 season, Eli Tomac has confirmed to Donn Maeda at Swapmoto that he does want to race in 2026 after his unfortunate leg injury scuppered his 2025 AMA 450 supercross title chances.
Tomac said: “It has really frustrated me mentally having these last few injuries and then I keep, honestly, surprising myself. This year I was faster again (than 2023) and staying with the lead group of guys and winning a race. I am actually at the position where, no, I am not going to stop racing. As for a timeframe? I am not sure but one thing is for sure, I am not done and I am looking to go racing again next year”
