Conrad Mewse dominated the opening moto to win by over 30 seconds after passing early race leader, Josh Gilbert on lap one. Adam Sterry moved his way into second a couple of laps later and the top three remained stagnent from there.
Taylor Hammal rode a great race to work his way into fourth with Tristan Purdon also coming from the back end of the top ten to fifth.
Mewse said: “It’s been a tough few weeks for me, I have rode the bike once in four weeks and that was to ride the Scottish championship because I was leading that. I injured my left wrist and just not been able to ride and even today it’s sore but that’s why that one meant so much to me. I excuted the start and made my life a bit easier. I rode a good race, if anything this could help me today as it makes me look for lines, I usually just bomb through the bumps and whatever. Today I have to look for lines and that’s what helped me with the pass for the lead.”

Race Two:
Conrad Mewse dominated the second moto with a 20 second lead over Adam Sterry and Josh Gilbert. John Adamson took fourth, Brad Todd fifth from Jake Carpenter and Jasin Meara seventh.
Mewse said: “I’m so happy with today. I really didn’t know what to expect coming in, I was stressing! Not being able to ride does a lot to you mentally, these boys are racing GPs every week and I am thinking they are getting the practice in. We dialled the starts in, I am so happy to go 1-1 today.”
