Lyonel Reichl has been one of the most improved riders so far in 2025, showing real progress and consistency throughout the season. After six rounds of the EMX250 series, Reichl currently sits eighth in the championship standings — a solid position and a vast improvement. Reichl also took the win at the opening round of the ADAC Youngsters Cup series.
However, despite his promising results, Reichl has announced that he has parted ways with the Motorrad Bauerschmidt Husqvarna team — the outfit he has raced for during the first half of the season.
At this stage, it’s unclear what the next step in Reichl’s career will be, but with the speed he’s shown this year, it’s hard to imagine he won’t land another opportunity soon.
We’ll keep you updated as and when his plans for the remainder of the season are
confirmed.Reichl posted the following update on social media:
Time to say thank you to Motorrad Bauerschmidt – my team for the past half year.
A special shoutout to Chris, my mechanic, who put in so much time, effort, and heart for me and the bike. Your support meant a lot.
Things didn’t always go as planned, and in the end, we’ve decided to go our separate ways. But that doesn’t change the appreciation I have for everything you’ve done.
Wishing you all the best moving forward – both on and off the track.
