Janis Reisulis took pole position in Portugal on his Yamaha.
Bobby Bruce put in a very impressive lap time for second – it looked at one stage that it might be enough for pole but Reisulis had other ideas. It’s positive to see Bruce at the sharp end.
Francisco Garcia put his BUD Kawasaki in third spot ahead of Noel Zanocz.
Gyan Doensen rounded out the top five on-board his SS24 Gabriel KTM machine.
Italian talent, Simone Mancini was sixth fastest with Aussie, Liam Owens seventh ahead of his team mate, Nico Greutmann.
Billy Askew was twelfth fastest but just over two seconds off the pace.
