The two most technical riders on the planet who are the closest in style to the legendary, Stefan Everts, will face off all year in 2025 – but will Prado have anything for Jett outdoors in his first year in the States and on a new bike?
Prado told Jase McAlpine: “I don’t know how good Jett is, I don’t know how good I am compared to them…if I feel good on the Kawi outdoors and I can ride like this year (in MXGP), I should be able to win.”
“What do I think? I think I can, so now let’s see if I can do it or not! I feel I can do it, if someone can do it , it’s me. I have the good starts, good fitness, I can ride the bike fast too. I am curious to see, probably these tracks suit me better than MXGP, we will see. I feel like I am on a very good bike and hopefully I have a good feeling riding outdoors with it, so I don’t know.”
One thing is for sure, trackside fans in the USA will get to see how to ride a bike correctly from a technical level in 2025 in double vision with Jorge Prado and Jett Lawrence. It doesn’t get smoother or more precise than those two in the modern era!
