The opening round of the 2025 Motocross National Championship in Talavera de la Reina has undergone a significant change in its schedule due to the difficulties that the riders have encountered today when taking to the track. Despite the fact that the day has dawned very sunny, the rains that have fallen during the week have left the Cerro Negro track with a lot of mud.
The Elite MX2 category had gone out for qualifying and after a few laps the circuit has become impossible to ride. The race management has decided to stop the sporting activity to guarantee the safety of the riders and to put the machinery back in order to have the track ready for tomorrow Sunday.
