Nicholas Lapucci was leading the first couple of laps in race one on his Kawasaki machine. Tim Gajser and Lucas Coenen were charging. It didn’t take Gajser long to get to the front and he had things under complete control until a few laps to go when he crashed out of the lead. Coenen himself then crashed in what was a bizarre end of the race but the Belgian picked it up in first to take his first 450cc victory.

Mattia Guadagnini rode well on his Ducati, despite being passed by Isak Gifting he was able to pass him back for third. Andrea Bonacorsi was solid in fifth with Glenn Coldenhoff recovering from a terrible start to sixth.

The second race was normal service resumed for Gajser as he led every lap on his HRC Honda machine. It was all going on behind him but it was the impressive Isak Gifting who finished second on his JK Yamaha. Bonacorsi didn’t get the best of starts but was riding well to come through the pack to third ahead of fellow countryman Guadagnini.

Coenen had a bad start and then came through the pack but had to crashes before settling for eighth. Watson was improved in the second race to finish a solid tenth.
