It has been an amazing couple of years for Max Nagl since he signed with the KMP Honda team to fully focus on the ADAC MX Masters championship. The German isn’t getting any younger after turning 37 years old this year but he isn’t losing much speed!
Nagl has managed to win the ADAC MX Masters the past two years during his time with the team but has announced he has parted ways with the KMP Honda team.
It remains to be seen what the future will hold for the German and if he’ll continue racing but fingers crossed.
Nagl revealed the news via social media:
It’s never easy to summarize a year and even harder to sum up two. As this year is coming to an end I have to reminisce about the road to here. With KMP Honda Racing Team and Honda Motorrad DE, we had a very good and successful 2 years together. Two Adac Mx Masters titles, 2 Manufacturers championship title and two Team championship titles are the maximum I could squeeze into this chapter of my professional career.
But as all good things have an end, this end is now. My cooperation with KMP Honda Racing Team and Honda Motorrad DE is now closed and I am starting a brand new chapter.
I can’t thank all the people in the team, especially Alex Karg, who put everything into these last two seasons and provided me with the best possible material and bike. My mechanics Carsten Ludwig and Philipp Liebau who were my biggest supporters and I am pretty sure they have now a few more grey hairs but a lot more amazing memories. My personal sponsor Guntram Krettek for standing by me and being not only a sponsor but a friend, manager also. And also everybody else in the team, all the friends, my family, fans I would like to thank you all for your continuous support.
This is an end, but is also a new beginning and more news will follow soon about my future.
