In the first moto, it was the impressive new KRT rider, Mathis Valin who took the win. Thibault Benistant was second in his first race of the year ahead of the Reisulis brothers.
Janis edged out his brother, Karlis with Francisco Garcia rounding out the top five on his BUD Kawasaki debut.
The second moto was a similar affair, Benistant was leading on lap one but Valin attacked on the second lap and pulled away at the front. The impressive EMX250 champion ended up winning by over thirteen seconds.
Janis Reisulis made his return to racing after a long time out injured and impressed with a podium ending up third overall – watch out for this kid and he continues to get back to form. Karlis Reisulis ended up fourth with Francisco Garcia rounding out the top five on his BUD Kawasaki. It was also a solid day for Jake Cannon ending up fourth overall as he prepares for his first season racing in Europe.
