In the first race, Romain Febvre led the way but had Maxime Renaux for company as the pair pulled away from the rest of the field. Renaux made a move on Febvre to take the win on his Factory Yamaha.
Calvin Vlaanaderen was third but over fifty seconds behind which shows the pace the first two riders were running. Maxime Desprey rode well for fourth over SR Honda duo, Alberto Forato and Kevin Horgmo.
The second moto saw Febvre and Renaux run away with things at the front of the field yet again. This time it was Febvre again led on lap one but this time opened up a nice lead over Renaux before a mistake promoted Renaux into first. From there, the Factory Yamaha rider was able to take the win to go 1-1 on the day.
Pauls Jonass was third on his Factory KRT nearly a minute behind which again showed the pace of the front two. Forato was strong for fourth ahead of the impressive Malaval.
