Ricky Carmichael has revealed that the Deegans helped Cole Davies get a private jet to fly in, in order to get the best surgery for his broken arm, a super nice gesture from the family.
It was only a week before Deegan and put Davies off the track for the win but when Davies was lying motionless in practice last Saturday, it was Haiden who got his mechanic to hold his bike before running over to check on Cole’s condition.
Now, on his Title 24 podcast with Ryan Villopoto, Ricky Carmichael revealed the help the Deegan family gave Davies, saying: “Deegans helped facilitate a private jet for Cole and his family to get to Vale so Cole could have his surgery…Deegan had someone who had a private jet in the Salt Lake area and they donated that to get Cole there.”
