After his crash in Arco, Isak Gifting will remain sidelined this weekend in Portugal. The in-form Swede said despite racing in Italy last weekend, he felt the risk was too big at GP level.
“Unfortunately won’t be lining up for Portugal this weekend, still need to recover my concussion from the crash in Arco. I did race last weekend in Montevarchi at the Italian championship to save points for the championship, finished 3rd. Was having a hard time during the race and I haven’t been able to practice since the race. So the risk is still too big. Thanks to my team and @rosendahlracing for all the support getting me back on track, I hope to be back soon!”
