MXGP qualifying race: It was a pretty chaotic MXGP qualifying race! Romain Febvre was leading the way around the first corner but then had a small tip over a couple of corners later dropping him down the order.
That allowed Lucas Coenen to get into the front and he rode a controlled, smart race to bring home the win! Herlings was second and it looked like a 1-2 for KTM but then he cross rutted on the final lap and crashed – Febvre then hit Herlings as he couldn’t avoid him.
Vlaanderen ended up a strong second with Febvre bringing home a third position.
Kevin Brumann had the race of his life to bring home an amazing fourth after Kevin Horgmo also crashed on the last lap. Herlings ended up seventh.
